Company Description

Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux (www.avaton.com) is seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team.

As a Chef de Partie at Avaton Luxury Beach Resort, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the culinary operations in your assigned section. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Your culinary skills, creativity, and attention to detail will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Job Description

  • Prepare and cook dishes within your assigned section, following standardized recipes and specifications
  • Assist in the planning and development of new menu items
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in your section
  • Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely production of dishes
  • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Adhere to quality and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, and continuously seek to improve culinary skills
  • Comply with HACCP and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a luxury dining establishment
  • Strong knowledge and experience in a specific culinary section (e.g., fish, grill, pastry)
  • Experience in a fine dining or Michelin-starred kitchen is preferred
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for culinary arts
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in Greece/ EU
