Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux (www.avaton.com) is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Head Waiter to join our team.

As the Head Waiter at Avaton Luxury Beach Resort, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will oversee the front-of-house operations, manage the waitstaff team, and ensure smooth and efficient service. Your passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and leadership skills will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Job Description

  • Assist guests with menu selections, provide recommendations, and take accurate orders
  • Coordinate dining room activities to ensure prompt and efficient service
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
  • Train the waitstaff team to provide excellent customer service
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and manage inventory of dining supplies, including cutlery, glassware, and linens
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless flow of service and timely delivery of dishes


  • Previous experience as a Head Waiter or similar role in a luxury dining establishment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of dining room procedures and etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in Greece, EU
