Housekeeping Manager - White Elephant

*This position is a year-round position for benefits purposes working 10 months of the year March 1st – December 31st.
Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:
- Manage day to day operation of a busy housekeeping department and ensure adherence to company standards
- Deal with employees and guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all housekeeping personnel
- Manage daily payroll of housekeeping department
- Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
- Conduct inventories as required
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards for all of our employees and guests.
Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in a high volume housekeeping operation as well as management/supervisory experience in a Hotel/Resort environment. This position also requires relocation to Nantucket.
