Tasked with the responsibility for both short- and long-term planning, as well as managing day-to-day operations of the engineering department, the ideal candidate would be self-motivated, detail- and goal-oriented, with an ability to multitask.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as Engineering Manager or a similar management role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

The Engineering Manager will assist the Director of Engineering in managing all aspects of the Engineering department, including overseeing the maintenance and repair of all buildings, heating systems, ventilation, refrigeration and mechanical equipment.

Other responsibilities include:

• Monitor a rooms maintenance program
• Supervise, train and manage all Engineering staff
• Supervise the daily operations of the department to comply with company policies and procedures
• Assist Director of Engineering with all capital projects to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
• Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
