White Elephant Resorts is now accepting applications for the year-round position of Rooms Manager at the Cottages at Nantucket Boat Basin.

The Rooms Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the Front Office, Bell Services, and Housekeeping staff in an attentive and courteous manner, providing all guests with a high level of quality service while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within an upscale hotel environment.

Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:

• Promote the professional growth and development of the entire Front Office and Housekeeping teams
• Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the team with other operational departments
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times
• Schedule and facilitate regular departmental training
• Be aware of all Hotel services/features

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, and self-motivated. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
