The Spa Supervisor will oversee all the daily operations of The Spa while also ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Oversee spa therapists including but not limited to training and scheduling all spa staff; excelling at the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve goals, including treatment services, retail sales, and repeat guests and requests. Assist with Spa and Wellness programming and marketing. Monitor facility maintenance, function, and cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and mentoring therapists to promote career growth through training, development and performance assessments.
• Assists in maintaining a comprehensive standard facility operation manual, including written policies and procedures for all facility services, administration, maintenance, and emergency procedures.
• Provides excellent 5 Forbes Star Service. Monitors guest feedback and follows up on guest requests and comments.
• Ensures all spa staff are implementing Forbes Five Star standards for Spa.
• Responsible for training of all spa front desk staff and therapists on Forbes Five Star service standards, customer service, spa operations, and spa software.
• Supervision of the spa and all spa staff.
• 1^st in communication for the Spa when questions and concerns from guests or staff.
• Performs payroll, creates and inputs staffing schedule in spa software, monitors and adjusts daily scheduling.
• Supervises effective daily operations including opening and closing procedures, facility inspections, and general facility maintenance.
• Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain the facility and prepare for special events.
• Helps ensure that the facility is only accessed by actual members and/or guests, and that it is safe and secure at all times.
• Assists in conducting orientation and tours of the spa to arriving guests, including an introduction to the facility, services, and spa programs at The Ranch at Rock Creek.
• Implements a strong guest check in and check out experience for guests that utilize The Spa during their stay (greeting, ambience, beverages and snacks, future spa suggestions, retail suggestions).
• Branches out to other departments to help them learn about The Spa (i.e. how to check availability, educating other employees on what treatments and services are available and informing them about spa hours and policies).
• Pays close attention to The Spa profit and loss, and staffing, inventory and purchasing.
• Conducts inventory counting for the spa and assists in ordering for the spa. Researches the best options, taking into consideration quality and spending.
• Oversees the Spa Incentive program.
• Ability to delegate where necessary.
• Assists Front Office Manager in any other spa assignments or demands.
