We are hiring immediately for a Part-Time Activities Attendant for Wednesdays and Thursdays, Shift 8:45am - 4:15/5:15pm.

Must be able to kayak and paddleboard, guide tours, complete digital waiver check in processes, lead game/craft activities, conduct safe operation instructions for bicycle and paddle sports rentals, perform retail and beverage transactions using POS system, follow safety and rescue protocols, perform daily equipment maintenance tasks, stock inventory as needed, and communicate to guests in a manner upholding the values and quality expectations of the facility.
Must be at least 18 years of age due to alcohol sales.
CPR/First Aid Training requirement or willingness to attend training on Tuesday November 11th at 9am.

Skills

  • Service guests by welcoming them, assisting them in filling out proper paperwork, guiding them to their activity and providing a safety speech to ensure our guests comprehend the rules and protocols in place for all equipment.
  • Facilitating paddle board, kayak, and bicycle rentals to resort guests.
  • Leading resort activities, guiding kayak tours, and providing fun for guests.
  • Ability to work outside and be near or on the water.
  • Ensure all charges for rental and sale items are accurately processed.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are implemented and monitored
  • Assists guests with the appropriate use of the aquatics facility.
  • Maintains the highest quality standards in the pool area.
  • Completes work projects as assigned by supervisor and managers.
  • Adheres to safety precautions and procedures for using hazardous chemicals and ensures economical and safe use of supplies and equipment.
  • Provides assistance and direction to our guests when necessary.
  • Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.
  • Identifies and reports all maintenance issues.
  • Assist with special events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Be able to lift 60-80 lbs unassisted
  • Must be able to swim and kayak/paddleboard.
  • The position requires light equipment maintenance and cleaning, walking, lifting, and paddling.
  • Must have attention to detail for waiver completion and rental tracking.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior luxury hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
