Overview
The Corporate Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the analysis of revenue maximization efforts in an identified cluster of EOS hotels. This position also sustains the maintenance of the EOS Revenue Management standards in concert with brand requirements through property visitation, specific auditing and measurement of hotel revenue performance against established goals and forecasts. The Corporate Director recommends and coordinates pricing and positioning for hotels and supplies critical analysis on company-wide decisions affecting pricing, occupancy, revenue goals and sales strategies. Revenue management strategies and practices are on-going and are flagged by EOS and revenue management practices to further understand demand and adjust strategies. Regular updates and solicitation of feedback to all VP Sr Ops/Managing Directors, General Managers, Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing will be core of the Revenue Management communication of strategies. This is a remote position with the ideal candidate residing on the East Coast close to New York City.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively review and analyze inventory and rate management
- Communicate with all properties regarding restrictions and strategies
- Produce regression analysis and research strategy effectiveness for each property assigned.
- Review and develop standard EOS Revenue Management position requirements and actions
- Participation with all brand partners in communicating Revenue Mangement brand standards and best practices
- Effectively evaluate market demand by utilizing turndown, property/brand diagnostics, CRS/GDS reports, Demand Positioning, Hotelligence 360 and STR data
- Monitor efforts to coordinate strategies for group business
- Effectively evaluate and propose needed technology enhancements and processes at field level to ensure budgeted revenue attainment.(i.e Delphi)
- As the discipline leader, provide functional and business expertise and strategic perspective to develop and implement profitable revenue strategies.
- Serve as change agent and play a key leadership role in driving the implementation, pull-through and sustaining of programs and key initiatives.
- Accountable for effective overall revenue management strategy and execution by the field.
- Provide strong revenue management leadership by providing needs assessment by segment for region, markets and high priority hotels
- Develop, coordinate and implement revenue generating strategies in conjunction with annual marketing plans
- Develop and train property level Revenue Managers on effective sell strategies and key areas of revenue management
- Ensure maximum utilization of all brand systems and act as liaison leader with markets, properties, owner and brand contacts.
- Assist the property teams in managing marketing components such as: brand identity, advertising, collateral, direct mail, e-marketing, website, partnerships, promotions, certificate/card and loyalty programs within respective brands of assigned hotels.
- Provide Leadership within the Sales and Marketing teams, by providing input on how to execute corporate initiatives.
- Establish strong partnerships between the field and corporate teams by maintaining a productive dialogue and exchange of ideas.
- Support hotel development efforts as the portfolio grows. This includes feasibility of projects, pro-forma development and due diligence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, including third party vendors and internal team members.
- Identify, hire, train and mentor revenue management leaders.
- Transfer functional knowledge and develop revenue management skills of other discipline managers
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of hotel revenue management including due diligence experience preferred
- Multi-brand work experience in revenue management and sales and marketing area strongly preferred
- Experience as a member of a senior executive/regional team highly preferred.
- Well-rounded experience base that includes assignments in both line and staff sales and marketing roles.
- Lodging/hospitality industry experience preferred with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage large scale initiatives
- Highly motivated individual who can work independently

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000
