Job Description

The Director of Integrated Marketing & Strategic Planning leads the orchestration of cross-channel campaigns that balance immediate revenue objectives with long-term brand growth. This role is responsible for transforming high-level business and brand strategy into actionable go-to-market (GTM) plans, campaign calendars, and execution roadmaps. This position spans Aspen Skiing Company’s four world-class mountains, Ski & Snowboard School, Four Mountain Sports rental and retail shops, on-mountain F&B outlets, and destination-wide events. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $105,000 - 150,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions

  • Own and lead the Aspen Skiing Company integrated marketing calendar, spanning seasonal campaigns, ski launches, destination initiatives, and events
  • Translate VP of Marketing’s strategic direction into coordinated GTM plans that deliver both guest acquisition and brand elevation
  • Develop and manage cross-functional roadmaps, aligning timing, sequencing, and prioritization to avoid overlap or cannibalization
  • Partner with shared services digital, sales, and revenue management to define marketing priorities
  • Build data-driven recommendations that inform channel investment, content priorities, and guest segmentation
  • Lead the creation of campaign decks, planning documents, and presentations to ensure alignment across teams
  • Support the VP of Marketing in refining ASC’s brand positioning to resonate with core skiers, snowboarders, luxury travelers, summer visitors, and international markets
  • Serve as the integrator between ASC marketing and Aspen One shared services (Creative, PR, Social, Digital, Partnerships, Events)
  • Oversee campaign briefs, timelines, and workback calendars, ensuring clarity of goals, KPIs, and deliverables
  • Facilitate campaign status meetings, briefings, and troubleshooting to ensure progress across diverse teams
  • Partner with Digital & Performance Marketing, agencies, and revenue teams to track campaign outcomes and guest engagement
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, surfacing optimizations for future planning
  • Support VP of Marketing in budget planning, forecasting, and allocation across brand and performance levers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Marketing or related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, GTM planning, or cross-channel campaign management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Fluency in digital marketing channels and performance levers (SEM, paid social, CRM/email, web UX), without requiring deep SME expertise
  • Proven ability to manage complex campaign calendars, cross-team workflows, and multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Familiarity with budget forecasting and performance reporting across multiple brands or business units
  • Advanced project management proficiency, ideally with Asana or equivalent tools
  • Strong track record of translating high-level business objectives into actionable GTM plans
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Background in skiing, snowboarding, outdoor sports, destination travel, or luxury hospitality
  • Experience leading high-profile launches, brand moments, or multi-market campaigns
  • Skilled communicator—able to influence without direct authority and build consensus across diverse teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong judgment on sequencing, prioritization, and investment levels
  • Empathetic collaborator who ensures alignment, clarity, and accountability across the organization
  • Ability to ensure resources are invested effectively across multiple business lines and campaign tiers
  • Ability to partner with PR, partnerships, and content teams to amplify brand moments and cultural relevance
  • Ability to lead & navigate complexity and multiple priorities with clarity and composure
  • Ability to bring a clear point of view on how to activate the right message, in the right channel, at the right time, while navigating sequencing, stakeholders, and competing priorities across a complex organization

Additional Information

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work is generally performed in a standard office environment
  • Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
  • Occasional adverse or hazardous conditions may exist when attending events
  • Occasionally requires walking over uneven or slippery surfaces
  • Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
  • Occasional travel is required as necessary
