Position Summary
The Sr Strategic Initiatives Manager will manage the integrated strategic initiative roadmap, business case development, and project management of high-profile initiatives, and track and create visibility to strategic initiative progress and outcomes.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $110,534 - $151,984. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
- Translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives and lead cross-functional project teams to successful execution
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, or areas of operational improvement
- Support leadership teams to define challenges, develop strategy and provide solutions
- Partner with project teams to refine recommendations and critical insights
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, or areas of operational improvement
- Facilitate the long-term strategic planning process and realization of multi-year objectives
- Serve as the program lead for major strategic initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-impact outcomes
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for initiatives
- Provide structure, accountability, and momentum to cross-functional efforts which enhance the quality and long-term success of the enterprise
- Drive end to end project scoping, planning, management, and implementation on key initiatives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, validate assumptions, and address challenges including external benchmarks and competitive positioning
- Formulate and test hypotheses to provide accurate context to strategic questions.
- Identify and translate external examples of best practices to improve operations aligned to the business strategy
- Support the development of clear and compelling strategic recommendations
- Define actionable plans and roadmaps with cross-functional stakeholders and support implementation of complex change initiatives
- Build and manage complex project timelines to deliver on target outcomes
- Establish and monitor key metrics to test and demonstrate the success of strategic initiatives
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on financial and operational performance to senior management and elevate capabilities of project teams
- Other duties as assigned for all roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required with focus on economics, finance, data analytics, operations management, engineering, philosophy, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, entrepreneurial pursuits, corporate strategy, project management, corporate finance, or venture or high growth operational leadership
- Experience within Hospitality, Resorts, CPG/retail, luxury or brand-centric industry

- Exceptional analytical capabilities and business acumen
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to distill complex information in a rigorous but consumable way
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop a cohesive ‘story’ to communicate key recommendations by leveraging disparate data points/ learnings, and to effectively communicate to key stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively & effectively with cross-functional leaders and their teams
Additional Information
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work is generally performed in a standard office environment
- Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
- Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
