Job Description
Position Summary
The Reservations Supervisor supports the overall operation of the Reservation office while securing and servicing hotel reservations for all Aspen Hospitality properties. This position will confirm that all policies and procedures are current, accurate, and utilized by the reservations team to further maximize sales and revenue for each associated hotel property. This position reports to the Director of Reservation Sales.
The pay range for this position is $26.00 to $30.00 per hour, actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
• Supervise and assist with the daily functions of the reservation office including:
• Inbound and outbound guest calls providing expert advice and exemplary guest service
• Department and property email inboxes and online bookings
• Manage service escalations from guests and or travel partners deposit reports, trace reports, staff metric reports, etc.
• Assist with deposit reports, trace reports, staff metric reports, etc
• Assist with Corporate account bookings and inquiries
• Assist with Wholesale account bookings and inquiries
• Interaction with Front Desk at all properties
• Aid with Internal reservations
• Assist in the development and administration of policies and procedures while updating OneNote
• Travel agent commission inquires and billing
• Manage wire account, post deposit payments to correct reservations, communicate with Groups and Events with funds received
• Communicate rate and inventory issues to revenue
• Back up group coordinators and property sales manager inquiries
• Uphold and exhibit Forbes 5 Star; 5 Diamond reservation standards
• Attend meetings as required
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
• College degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years Hotel Reservation or Front Desk supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel technology platforms
• Ability to work with people of all levels with professional presentation
• Familiar with all policies and procedures for the Reservation Department
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with proven ability to prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among various departments
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
• Willingness and ability to accept and apply feedback
• Proven ability to make sound decisions
• Ability to manage projects with a high degree of independence
• Ability to foster a high level of influence across all levels of the organization
• Ability to complete tasks and projects delegated by management in a timely manner and assist other departments as business volumes and staff level demand
Additional Information
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
• No adverse or hazardous conditions
• Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
