Job Description

Summary
The Vice President of Revenue Management and Distribution is responsible for the overall leadership, development, deployment, and measurement of company-wide strategic and tactical revenue management initiatives. This individual will provide direction and support to the Corporate and Property teams to maximize revenue (RevPAR and RevPAR Index) profit and market share through hands-on leadership of all revenue management processes. Build, lead, and develop a team of revenue leaders to drive future growth. This position reports to the CEO.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $190,000 - $230,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions
• Evaluate the current approach to revenue management / e-commerce and recommend improvements supported by data analysis to achieve the hotel and market goals
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders including the department heads for Sales, Digital, Brand, property General Managers, ownership/JV Partners, to ensure alignment on revenue goals and performance
• Create a road map to ensure all hotels are effectively utilizing technology to produce results and identifying areas of deficiency
• Analyze and interpret revenue reports, STR report, pace, Demand 360 data and other similar reports and recommend real-time strategy changes
• Develop strategies to drive higher room revenues through implementation and evolution of our systems and processes
• Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies that optimize pricing and inventory allocation across the portfolio
• Oversee pricing strategies for all properties, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and market demands
• Utilize advanced data analytics and forecasting techniques to project future revenue performance and adjust strategies accordingly
• Communicate with external vendors to ensure the successful execution of revenue management and eCommerce strategies
• Maintain a database of all factors affecting markets and submarkets associated with the hotel portfolio, including demographics and changes in supply and demand
• Produce ad-hoc analyses to evaluate the performance of hotel assets and seek-out opportunities for greater efficiency and better performance
• Standardize and automate Revenue Management Systems and processes to ensure maximization of revenues across each hotel, with the greatest efficiency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications
• Must have a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent amount of industry experience
• 10+ Years of relevant experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
• 2 – 5 Years of Vice President Revenue Management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficient knowledge in Luxury, Lifestyle & Independent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient knowledge in current and future RM tools including Duetto, Delphi, and any new tools or reports developed • Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis
• Knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing and other revenue management functions to include research, planning, market positioning, market segments, internal marketing, distribution channels, sales management, reservations and yield management
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, fostering collaboration across departments
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and implement innovative revenue strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in revenue management systems and data analysis tools
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue management team to achieve departmental and organizational goals
• Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors to identify revenue opportunities and risks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organization skills

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
No adverse or hazardous conditions
Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
