SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the liquor, beer, and N/A beverage program at The Inn at Little Washington. The Supervisor is responsible for creating a cocktail list that is on par with, and raises the bar, for our 3-Star Michelin property. The Bar Supervisor will uphold restaurant and hotel standards and create a friendly and educational work environment for staff. Duties include, but are not limited to, purchasing, receiving, storage, distribution and security of all liquor and beverage products, daily maintenance of all cocktail lists, updating and keeping POS system current, staff training, COGS tracking, month end and daily beverage inventory. Nightly bartending duties are part of this job as well. In addition, the Bar Supervisor is responsible for organization, upkeep, and cleanliness of the bar and beverage/liquor storage units.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Nightly Bar service at The Inn at Little Washington
2. Helps to create Inn cocktails
3. Pick up liquor order weekly, or as needed at ABC store 303
4. Liquor Inventory to be completed and emailed to DOW on the 1st of each month.
5. Meeting Forbes and Inn's standards; including all aspects of guest service delivery - especially timing of service delivery.
6. BTG Wine Knowledge
7. Updating and printing accurate cocktail/spirit menus
8. Assists and delegates all bar Staff Training
9. Implement creative liquor program that includes a focus on both classic and current creation cocktails that can be made and served within Forbes/Chef s time standards.
10. Creating mocktail pairing menu
11. Communicate all 86'd liquors/beer to staff daily.
12. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of departmental equipment, supplies and work areas.
13. Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
• High School graduate
• Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
· Experience as a bartender and/or cocktail server
· Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
Desirable:
• High school graduates, some college
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
• Any previous culinary training.
• Certification in alcohol awareness program.
• Knowledge of Computerized P.O.S. systems.
• Previous guest relations training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
