Overview

Out Property Management Maintenance team is looking to hire a full-time, seasonal Homes Spa Tech to join their team! The Homes Spa Technician is responsible for responding to the needs of management, housekeeping, property managers, front desk, dispatch and guest service calls. S/he will assist in preparing homes and condos for guest arrival by providing hot tub services. S/he will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards

The Homes Spa Technician will always conduct him/herself in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Commitment, and Open and Honest Communication. S/he shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times and will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice.

Responsibilities

  • Provides prompt response to all service calls
  • Will occasionally be responsible for delivery of requested guest items
  • Keeps department vehicles stocked and orderly at all times
  • Performs quality control checks on outdoor spas within our vacation rental inventory; including but not limited to: chemical checks, adding chemicals, basic maintenance and repairs, occasional drain and fills, cleaning interior and exterior of vessel as well as surrounding area, and replacement of spa filters
  • Keeps accurate and legible records of all services
  • Resolves guests’ issues and is empowered to act in the absence of the manager
  • Helps maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to manager/supervisor.
  • Report any needed repairs immediately to manager/supervisor
  • Must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards.
  • Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies, and equipment
  • Provides accurate key control and effective security for all keys, buildings, and vehicles
  • Will occasionally assist housekeeping; including but not limited to: lock ups, stripping and stocking, bed making, and basic cleaning.
  • Follows through on lost and found procedures. No articles shall be removed from occupied spaces. Absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised
  • Communicates all pertinent information to appropriate departments
  • Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • One year of customer service experience required
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License and meet company driving standards
  • Must always ensure a teamwork environment
  • Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs;
