Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer II is to ensure exceptional guest and owner services by effectively maintaining the machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within their designated scope. The role of the Maintenance Technician II is vital in upholding an efficient, dependable, safe, and conducive environment for our esteemed owners, valued guests, and respected team members.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum college degree or 6 years of experience in related field preferred.
  • Display strong mechanical ability.
  • Previous experience and skills in areas such as: building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, masonry, painting, carpentry, and basic lock repairs.
  • Ability, knowledge, and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage projects and establish priorities with diverse timelines and responsibilities.
  • Must have significant experience in problem solving, investigation and research.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to be pro-active in approach to problem resolution.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Possession of a valid Hawaii driver’s license and be insurable within the CoralTree Residence Collection system.
