Description
Room Attendants are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of all resort areas including public spaces and private guest rooms.
Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities
• Ensure all rooms and public spaces are cared for and clean according to company standards
• Protect and responsibly handle guest and company property and equipment
• Notify supervisors of any damaged property immediately
• Ensure guest requests and complaints are handled appropriately and efficiently
• Strip rooms and keep closets stocked
• Take out trash and properly break down boxes
• Due to the nature of this position, confidentiality is always required
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Housekeeping Supervisors or Directors
Qualifications
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Understanding of verbal and nonverbal communication, ability to multitask and work efficiently independently or as a team, be guest and service oriented
• The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk the property, climb stairs, and sit for periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
