<div> <div> <a href="#">Apply</a> </div> <div>Description</div> <div> <p><strong>Now hiring for Full-time Year-Round Position</strong></p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>OBJECTIVE</strong>:</p> <p>Work directly with the Housekeeping Manager and the Director of Rooms to help manage the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department ensuring clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment. Works directly with the Director of Rooms to meet the 5-Spur standard across all aspects of the housekeeping department. Exhibits leadership qualities and adheres to Ranch culture and 5-Spur Service. <strong>Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.</strong></p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p>· Demonstrates standards and procedures for housekeeping staff.</p> <p>· Co-manages the housekeeping department, including participating in interviewing and hiring as needed.</p> <p>· Co-train all new staff members to C Lazy U “5 Star” standard.</p> <p>· Under the direction of the manager, coaches and encourages staff</p> <p>· Assists with the delegation of duties to lead Houseman.</p> <p>· Reinforces housekeeping standards set by Rooms Director</p> <p>· Assist with planning and assignments of housekeeping staff workload. </p> <p>· Participates in performance appraisals and disciplines as well as addressing any complaints and problem resolution.</p> <p>· Assist with planning staff schedules to ensure adequate service in the absence of the manager.</p> <p>· Facilitates weekly meetings/task lists coordinated with manager.</p> <p>· Assists housekeepers with cleaning cabins and common areas when needed.</p> <p>o Clean and sanitize cabins to a standard as needed to meet deadlines (summer Sundays, and heavy turnover days).</p> <p>o Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment, with a primary focus on guest cabins.</p> <p>· Working knowledge of all housekeeping equipment.</p> <p>· Co-Manages inventories and provides the manager with a list of needed supplies, and equipment.</p> <p>· Has a developed eye for detail to ensure the cleanliness of all guest cabins, the lodge common areas including lobbies, bathrooms, hallways, clubrooms, fitness center, and hot tub areas.</p> <p>· Attend management meetings and training as needed</p> <p>· Adheres to all company policies and procedures.</p> <p>· Is a team member with all staff.</p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :</strong></p> <p>Performs all related duties as assigned</p> </div> <div>Requirements</div> <div> <p><strong>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p>· Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school</p> <p>· Minimum one-year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>· Basic knowledge of computers and data processing</p> <p>o Basic experience with MS Word and Excel req.</p> <p>· Knowledge of payroll systems and Opera preferred</p> <p>· Strong communication skills at all levels of personnel. </p> <p>o Bilingual ~ English/Spanish skills preferred</p> <p>· Positive and professional interaction skills with guests.</p> <p>· Must be able to deal with difficult situations</p> <p>· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</p> <p>· Basic mathematical skills with the ability to interpret reports</p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p>The employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel. Crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
